Idea for scare scenes

Clock
A clock chiming loudly and popping out.

Lights flickering- will increase the scare.

Weird faces being shown quickly.

Im still unsure on what to do with my scares but as i create on 3d max i think i will get more of an idea.

Naming My ride

Looking up the idea of nothing being 'normal' inside the dolls house searched name ideas with the original idea be home sweet home i think it didn't really have a catch to it. I'm happy with the  name of my ride as it doesn't give to much away and leaves people curious.

My thoughts and inspirations

The journey of the roller coaster i want the viewer/passenger to get confused with whats real and whats not. I wont be having scary ghosts or the stereotypical 'scare'. It is going to be based inside a house with usual household objects, however they are altered in certain ways to create a  certain scare factor.My inspiration for this has come from Tim Burton films for example Beetle juice its a normal house inside there are weird shaped objects that get your mind thinking. In Alice in Wonderland the queens head is enlarged little adjustments like this making the normal seem abnormal.

First Part of this rollercoaster ride

The start

This is the plan and layout for my roller coaster. As I'm basing my ride inside a dolls house and needing it to fit in with the measurements of Waverly theatre the downstairs is to the left and the upstairs is to the right where it goes up its a pretty simple layout but once all the walls are added i think it will work well.

I chose different fonts to get a feel of what i liked and didn't i think all the fonts represent a piece of my personality so this works well.

Narrative,Interactivity and Convergence?

The narrative of the film shows the process of continuous doubt in the viewers and arguably the characters too.It creates the idea of what is real and what isn't.It features two main characters throughout they too doubting reality it involves the new arrival of a virtual reality game. The film is that of a sci fi genre.Interactivity in the film is effective as it could possibly lead you to doubt your actions. The film reaches audiences minds making them confused, it allows you to open up your imagination in the film.
